BARCELONA — To meet heavy demand for simple, highly secure file synchronization and sharing in the enterprise, SAP today announced the SAP Mobile Documents solution. SAP also recognizes the importance of adding enterprise management capabilities to other content management solutions, helping ensure open choice for customers.
SAP works with leading vendors that leverage the enterprise mobility management (EMM) suite from SAP and the SAP Mobile Platform to help ensure device compliance and minimize security risk.
“Mobile productivity and file sharing requirements range from a single office to globally distributed offices with more than 100,000 users,” said Sunita Reddy, vice president of Enterprise and Partner Strategy, Accellion. “SAP Afaria offers customers running the Accellion application an enterprise mobility management solution that addresses our customer’s scalability requirements.”
“The ability to work within SAP’s new mobile content management ecosystem ensures users have secure access to their content apps that are compliant with company policy,” said Marc Dubresson, director, Mobile Product Management, Alfresco.

It will rapidly improve business insight, strengthen business impact, accelerate process velocity, address information governance and provide security.”

“Seamless file collaboration is key to scaling your business; it doesn’t have to be a barrier,” said Eric van Miltenburg, senior vice president, Business Development, YouSendIt. “To leverage the promise of SAP’s new mobile content ecosystem including accessing, storing and sharing business content on your mobile device, we have aligned our product with SAP Mobile Platform to enable secure access to business files.”
